Trevor McDonald does satire with the aid of Marcus Brigstocke in ITV's great new answer to Have I Got News For You. Instead of trying to ape the panel-quiz-format that BBC have done to death (QI, Mock the Week, They Think it's All Over, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and even Never Mind the Full Stops for flips sake), they've made it much more straightforward. It's basically Sir Trev doing straight-to-camera jokes, with the panel of guests butting in when they have something funny to say. Like the other shows, it's all in the writing and editing, which is fantastic here. The fact that it's Trevor McDonald delivering the jokes makes it all the more hilarious. Check it out. (Link)
